Concert for Peace 1 March 2018

Several members of Ember Choral will be singing in the last movement of Beethoven’s 9th symphony and the Fauré requiem excerpts, together with colleagues from two other local choirs. We are very excited to be part of this concert. Please encourage all your friends to come to support this event.

Menuhin Hall – Come and Sing: Mozart’s Requiem

“Menuhin Hall – . This is the work that was sung at our first Come and Sing Day a decade ago, and it is fitting that we should return to this ever-popular work for Malcolm Singer, our outgoing Direct of Music’s final Come and Sing event.”

This was held on April 23rd 2017 and some of us went along to sing.  What an honour it was to be able to sing in this concert with the very talented Menuhin school orchestra and singers. Thank you Malcolm Singer for your musical direction, and have a happy retirement!  Here are some of us in rehearsal and enjoying a break before the evening concert.

Joel is fundraising!

Joel successfully completed the marathon on Sunday, 23rd April! We had a wonderful evening at his concert performing alongside some very talented musicians of all ages.  Here we are getting ready to sing!  Photos by Victoria Lewis.
