In 2026 / 27 we are celebrating our 70th birthday! If you would like to try singing with Ember Choral – now’s the time! Tenors and basses are especially welcome and everyone’s first two rehearsals are free. Ember Choral is a friendly, mixed-voice choir based in Thames Ditton, Surrey. We aim to have fun as well as achieving a high standard of singing. The choir does not hold auditions and currently has around 55 members. We give three concerts a year, often with a professional orchestra and soloists, performing a selection of traditional and classical choral pieces.
Our next (Christmas!) concert will be at Holy Trinity Church in Claygate at 7.30pm on Saturday 5th December 2026. The programme will include The Nativity by Eric Thiman, When Icicles Hang by John Rutter and a selection of carols for choir and audience.
