Welcome to Ember Choral! We are a friendly, mixed-voice choir based in Thames Ditton, Surrey. We aim to have fun as well as achieving a high standard of singing. The choir does not hold auditions and currently has around 55 members. We give three concerts a year, often with a professional orchestra and soloists, performing a selection of traditional and classical choral pieces.
Rehearsals for our Summer term start from Wednesday 15th April. We will be working towards our summer concert, to be held in Holy Trinity church in Claygate on Saturday 27th June. We will be singing Mozart’s Coronation Mass and Handel’s O Praise the Lord with One Consent (9th Chandos Anthem), with soloists and orchestra. It promises to be a beautiful concert, so why not come and sing with us this term? Your first two rehearsals will be free of charge and you can be sure of a warm welcome!
